2nd Annual Holiday Concert of Giving to Benefit Second Harvest Food Bank

In partnership with 21 WFMJ’s Project: Feed Our Valley, the Youngstown Area Community Concert Band and Stambaugh Chorus will host the 2nd annual Holiday Concert of Giving to raise money to feed hungry families in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties on Sunday, December 9 at 4:00 p.m. at historic Stambaugh Auditorium.  Admission is a cash donation to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band, conducted by Joe Pellegrini, and the Stambaugh Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Hae-Jong Lee, will perform many holiday favorites, and there will be a special appearance from Santa Claus!  For every $1 given at the concert, the Food Bank can distribute $15 worth of food to families that need it most this holiday season.

“We are thrilled that these two incredible groups have decided to collaborate again this year for this great holiday performance to feed people in our community,” said Michael Iberis, executive director, Second Harvest Food Bank.  “Admission is a cash donation of any amount, and we invite the entire community to join us and enjoy an evening filled with great local holiday music.”
